External collaborator call (a) - Evaluation of specific contributions at the national level (CDN) from the business perspective within the framework of the transition to a low carbon economy in Ecuador - Act/EMP
Estimated Labor Office (ILO) a person to perform functions as an external collaborator. It will be responsible for evaluating to what extent the nationwide contributions (CDN) of Ecuador address the challenges and needs of the Private sector, including MSMEs, in their transition to a low carbon economy. The analysis should consider normative, technical, economic and financial dimensions, and focus on key sectors. The consulting will include a documentary review of the CDNs and associated policies, a Incentive and barriers analysis, and consultations with business organizations and their members. The main result will be a technical report that identifies the challenges faced by companies in this transition, evaluate the alignment of the CDNs with these needs, and propose recommendations practices from a business perspective. The report must reflect contributions from the private sector, be aligned with the methodological and fair transition approaches promoted by the ILO, and contribute to improving the inclusion of the private sector in national climate planning and implementation. in account that, if this commission requires traveling, the ILO will cover the necessary travel expenses.
