- GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Design and implement a study of knowledge, attitudes and practices (CAP) in the parishes of El Eno and San Roque, province of Sucumbios, which allows identifying barriers, beliefs, social norms and behavior patterns that affect the DCI, in order to generateContextualized evidence to guide comprehensive and multisectoral strategies of development communication, focused on strengthening services of the prioritized package, the promotion of adequate care practices, and the transformation of social norms that negatively affectThe well -being of girls and boys in early childhood. Specific objectives: review and adapt the methodological tools proposed by UNICEF for CAP Studies, and develop a work plan and schedule detailed by parish. Design the sample for the quantitative survey, addressed to womenpregnant women and persons responsible for the care of children under 2 years of age, guaranteeing territorial representativeness and criteria differentiated by parish.
