Description:
The objective of the assignment is tosupport the World Bank with analytical and communication strategy inputs toinform the Bank-s dialogue with the Ministry of Energy and Mines (MEM) ofEcuador. This will include technicalassistance to the World Bank that will help inform the MEM-s subsequentimplementation of a communication campaign on energy efficiency targetingresidential, commercial, public and industrial sectors. This campaign shall raiseawareness on the energy crisis, focus on short-term energy efficiency measures toprevent the recurrence of such crisis, as well as identification and proposalof long-term solutions to reduce Ecuador electricity consumption.This assignment does not includethe implementation of the communication campaign or the creation of the content.The implementation of the campaign will be the responsibility of the Governmentof Ecuador (GoE): MEM, Ministry of Finance, Communication Offices, PublicUtilities.
